Ben decides to have a suntan and visits Tanya Tanwell at her Sun
Delight Studios.

Directors Comment by Andreas Hafele:

To get Sykes [Ben the dog’s real name] to stop on his marks and take a hike on command took a lot of rehearsing prior to the shoot. Additionally during the heat in which we were shooting it was especially hard for him to hold the phone while panting – but in the end he mastered it beautifully! In this episode I particularly like the orange art deco motif of our main location exterior which provided a perfect backdrop to the Western-esque encounter between Burt the Biker and Ben. Once inside Tanya Tanwell’s salon we needed a shot of Ben on the sunbed so we hid a toy dog between the tanning lamps and cheekily wagged the tail with fish wire. It worked a trick!

为了让Sykes（饰演Ben的狗狗的真名）能够根据指令停在定点上或是进行一段步行，在正式拍摄之前它听了很多次这样的重复命令。此外拍摄的过程中，咬住手机气喘吁吁的奔跑对Sykes来说是一件很困难的事情，但它最后非常完美地掌握了这个动作！在这一片断中，我尤其喜欢在我们的主要取景地橙色deco motif，这给Burt the Biker 和 Ben之间的西方式相遇提供了一个非常棒的场景。在Tanya Tanwell沙龙，我们需要一个Ben躺在日光床上的镜头，于是我们就在晒黑灯之间放了一个玩具狗并且不停地摇动用动物毛发做成的尾巴，这一切居然很有效果！
