Hi the rubber edges on my battery cover are falling off Ive only had it a little over a mounth!!!!!! any1 else having probs with it。the rubber sides on the battery cover have buckled and fallen off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is no longer rubber on the sides of it!!!!!!!!!
I noticed that mine is falling apart too. Also, upon further inspection, it looks like the rubber is glued onto the side of the battery cover.for the time being, i dabbed in some glue to keep it there. If the whole thing comes off, then i'll probably apply a more thorough layer of stronger glue.
I have the same problem with the rubber on the battery cover falling off.
I didn't touch it, since I had to take the phone to the service center for other problems anyway. I asked them about repairing the rubber, and they said they'll see what can be done about it. Well, when I got the phone back they did nothing about the rubber, saying it wasn't covered by the warranty and tried selling me a new cover....for a prohibitive price that is !!
WARNING TO ALL THAT HAVE THIS RUBBER PROBLEM
Two days after having the phone back, the rubber thing became really bad and started tearing apart. I tried gluing it back on, but it was too late since the rubber was already too stretched and wouldn't fit. I had to cut out about 2mm of it and then glue it back on...it still doesn't look good.
!!So, if you notice the rubber protection is coming off, glue it back immediately !!
This rubber seems to be a problem with the M75 ... is it possible Siemens would do anything about it and perhaps offer cheaper/free replacement for their customers ?! Guess not, right ? |
