About Sunnysoft MapView
Sunnysoft MapView is an application, which allows you to put image files together and view them as maps. This gives you opportunity to use the Internet as an infinite source for maps, which you can then take with you in your Pocket PC wherever you go. All you need to do is to download the images or save screenshots as image files, create simple text file, which tells the program how to put the images together, download them to Pocket PC and you have a map! The same you can do with your own paper maps, except you need to photograph or scan them first.

Fast full-screen viewing of digital maps
Sunnysoft MapView enables you fast full-screen viewing of digital maps created from more graphics images on your personal computer. One can create your own map just by scanning any map or by downloading map images from Internet. Sunnysoft MapView now suports several types of formats as .pcd, .bmp, .pix, .gif, .jpg, .jpe, .jpeg, .jfif, .jif, .png, .ilbm, .lbm, .iff, .sgi, .rgb, .rgba, .bw, .ppm, .tiff, .ras, .tga, .pcx , so you do not have to be scared of having images in different graphics format, from which the main map will be folded up.

How to create map from your own images
You can created your own map by this way:
Name your created images (or downloaded) to, for example, 1.gif, 2.gif, 3.gif, 4.gif, 5.gif, 6.gif, 7.gif, 8.gif
Use the file called Map.smv from zipped file you received from Sunnysoft
Rename it to for examle Map.smv.txt or just open Map.smv in any text editor
In case that you rename it, open this txt file in any text editor
Leave key word MapView10 and Map unchanged
Under key word Map, write 1.gif, 2.gif, 3.gif, 4.gif and on the next line 5.gif, 6.gif, 7.gif, 8.gif and save this file. Name of images must be separated by commas (for example 1.gif, 2.gif, 3.gif, 4.gif)
By this way you have just created matrices. Map will consits of 8 images. First line will be from left to right (1.gif, 2.gif, 3.gif, 4.gif) and second line will be from left to eight (5.gif, 6.gif, 7.gif, 8.gif)
Now, you have successfully created your own map
Now , copy map.smv and all gif (or other formats) images to your pocket PC. All files have to be copied into the same directory
Open your created map by pressing "Open map" button on the left side of tool bar
This is how your *.smv file should look like:

This is how your images will be placed in your map:

How to add, define and place your mark
If you have created your own map and opened it in Sunnysoft MapView, you can add, name and place your own mark which will help you to find your favourite place on the map.
Your mark will be placed on point where you will hold your stylus on the map
After while, you will see pop-up menu, where you can select "Place mark..."
If you press "Place mark...", you will see new window, where you can name your favourite mark
Then just press "OK" button and you will see a little mark in flag shape placed on the map

How to move map
You can move your created map by Scrool arrows on the tool bar.

How to find your favourite mark created by you
If you have created your favourite mark on the map, you can easily look it up. Press "Find mark" button on the tool bar and new window will be displayed. It contains your created marks. If you double click (or click and press OK button) on the desired mark, Sunnysoft MapView will automaticaly move you to the place, where the selected mark has been placed.

How to Zoom in/out
You can zoom in/out your created map. To zoom in/out your map, you can do it by two ways:
you can use the tool bar to zoom in/out by pressing two little magnifying glass with "+" or "-"
or you can hold your stalus on the map and select zoom in/out from poo-up menu on the screen

Additional options (to hide/show tool bar, task bar, help, mark name and map tile border)
If you would like to show/hide tool bar, task bar, mark name and map tile border, just press the "Show menu" button on the tool bar and select if you would like show it or hide it.

How to quit Sunnysoft MapView
If you would like to exit Sunnysoft MapView, just press "Show menu" button on the tool bar and select Exit...
