.mobi手机域名10月11日将正式开放注册

近一个多月来，.mobi手机域名已经成为网络上的一个热门词汇，对全中国超过4亿的手机用户大市场的向往，令.mobi域名注册一浪高过一浪。据初步统计，从9月26日开始至今短短不到半个月时间，中国已经成为全世界.mobi域名注册排名第三位，近十万企业和个人成为.mobi手机域名的拥有者。
10月11日马上就要到了，这是.mobi手机域名注册的正式日子，之前的优先注册期行将结束。可以预料，继9月26日.mobi手机域名的第一个高潮之后，10月11日将迎来.mobi域名的第二个注册高潮。

据了解，由于优先注册期价格较贵，很多个人不会抢注企业域名，而一当注册正式期到来，域名注册价格会大幅下降，很多抱有投资目的的个人会抢注企业、地名、区号等有价值的.mobi域名，这对那些还没有注册手机域名的企业来说，这无疑是一次巨大的冲击。新一轮的域名争夺战很有可能再次上演。
相对于世界来说，中国互联网起步较晚，在.com等国际域名争夺战中，中国没有获得主动权。而.mobi域名全球同步启动，让中国和世界站到了同一条起跑线上。中国有近3千万企业用户，保护自己的品牌，包括手机域名，相当重要。中国万网作为国内最大的域名注册服务提供商，在十年的中国域名保护运动中功不可没。但用周锚的话说：“域名保护实属无奈之举”。面对此次.mobi域名来势汹猛的注册热潮，中国万网热切希望广大的中国企业具有前瞻意识，把工作做到前面，保护自己的手机域名，为即将到来的3G时代打下坚实的基础。
