01-Nov-2006 Vladimir AnanievPhone calls and SMS sending work now. Qtopia works just fine, the main problem is huge applications startup time, it is about 1..3 seconds. Qtmail application starts about 5 seconds! This is not acceptable... For example in Symbian we have 1 second SMS application startup time. And this is the worst case..

I got all the IPC messages from Symbian firmware. And I started implementing them in Linux kernel.

Finally I`ve found right parameters for UART2 and I got an answer from Egold! MUX daemon seems to work fine.

I started to develop kernel driver for sound. The main problem is getting Inter Processor Communication between OMAP and Egold. Egold acts as a modem device with multiplexing support,some of mux channels are used to control sound volume etc. There is a Motorola mux_cli driver available, I started porting it to 2.6 kernel.
